TOGETHER AS THE

DOUBLE NAME WITCHES

Best Friends / Co-Founders

GC + MK met for the first time on the streets of NYC, in front of the St. James on a chilly January day in 2017. They recognized each other because MK was standing by for Elphaba on the national tour of Wicked at the same time that GC was standing by for Glinda in the Broadway company.

Fast forward nine months later, GC was playing Glinda on the road and was overjoyed to hear the happy news that her fellow double name gal, MK, would be joining the touring company as the green girl!

GC would say the first time she fell for MK was during their first rehearsal together, when they got to sing “For Good.” MK would say she knew the offstage friendship would be special when GC snuck her out a backdoor of the theatre after a Saturday night and whisked her away for an evening of burgers and girl talk.

MK + GC toured together in the roles of these iconic witches for a year, performing in 15 different cities all over the US and in Canada. Their time was filled with wild local adventures, exhausting travel days, late night culinary experiments, songwriting sillies, and lots and lots of Wicked.

Their friendship offstage brightened and emboldened their onstage relationship.

One reviewer in Indianapolis noted:

"By far one of the best scenes to showcase this talent is during the song "Popular," which is the hymn to Elphaba's baptism into the church of Glinda: beauty, flirtation, and unrivaled social success. This scene between Morrissey and Mason was such fun for the audience that the actresses nearly broke character in the midst of their antics. It was a joy to watch and made their friendship that much more believable."

MK + GC’s love for working together, for theatre, and for the next generation of performers inspired them to launch this virtual music theatre school. We can't wait to work with you!
